Anyone who has ever been to the Rhine should not miss the opportunity to see the river bank from the water. Conveniently, the pier of the Bonner Personen Schifffahrt is a 20-minute walk from the hotel. From here it is one day up on the boat .... um ship! One could almost say that the journey is the destination, because it goes upstream past numerous castles (ruins) and palaces that line the banks of the Rhine like pearls. In addition to the Drachenfels town of Königswinter, you will pass the recreational town of Bad Honnef. The destination is reached in Linz am Rhein in just under 1.5 hours.
The small town is always worth a visit. Incidentally, the city owes its name as the "colorful city on the Rhine" to the many colorful buildings.
When you've had enough of strolling through the small town, your water vehicle will take you back to Bad Godesberg. You'll love it!
